Baked Chicken Breasts Recipe

Baked chicken breasts are an easy meal to make for dinner, or it can be used to meal prep for the week.  Whichever way you choose to use these baked breasts, you will not be disappointed. Super juicy, healthy, and versatile, you will love this recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium sized chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 lemon sliced thinly

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400℉/200℃/Gas Mark 6.
  • Remove the chicken breasts from the packaging and place them onto a baking tray that is lined with parchment paper.
  • Season the breasts with salt, black pepper, thyme and basil. Slice a lemon into thin, even slices and place the lemon slices on top of the chicken breasts.
  • Place into the oven and bake for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and let cool.
