Preheat the oven to 350℉/175℃/Gas Mark 4.
In a medium bowl, whisk the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream on medium speed for about 3 minutes the unsalted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar, scraping down the bowl as needed.
Add the 2 eggs and vanilla extract to the creamed butter and continue to beat on medium speed until fully incorporated.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients beating on low speed until the dry ingredients are fully mixed in.
Lastly, pour the chocolate chips in and mix by hand with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the cookie batter onto the sheet. You can stick more chocolate chips into the tops of the dough if desired.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are just beginning to turn brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool. Enjoy!
