Meatloaf Recipe with Glaze

Meatloaf is a delicious classic dinner meal.  Very satisfying and easy to make, this recipe is sure to make everybody happy.  With a juicy base and a beautiful glaze, you will love eating this recipe and will eat it time and time again.

Ingredients
  

Meatloaf

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 med. onion finely chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • 1/2 c. Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • ½ tsp. paprika

Meatloaf Glaze

  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

Meatloaf

  • Preheat oven to 375℉/190℃/Gas Mark 5
  • Line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper
  • In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients together and mix well
  • Add the mixed meat to the loaf pan. Gently press the meat down and shape the loaf evenly
  • Bake meatloaf for 40 minutes then remove from oven and spread meatloaf sauce over the top of the meatloaf. Return to oven
  • Bake for another 15-20 minutes
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Slice and serve

Meatloaf Sauce

  • Put all of the sauce ingredients together in a small mixing bowl.
  • Whisk together.
  • Pour over the meatloaf at the designated time as seen above.
