Cuisine American
- 2 c. all-purpose/plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. butter melted
In a large bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir them together until they are well incorporated.
Place a frying pan on low to medium heat. Pour the desired size of your pancakes onto the frying pan. Let the sides of the pancakes start to darken and bubbles form and pop in the middle of the batter. Once the sides are slightly hardened and are turning golden brown, flip them over and continue to fry on the other side for about a minute. They normally take 1-2 minutes of frying per side.
Remove from the heat and serve with maple syrup or nutella and fresh berries! Makes 12 pancakes.
