Porridge Recipe
This easy porridge recipe is easy to make and is a great breakfast option for busy mornings. Made in under 10 minutes, this breakfast recipe is is hearty and delicious!

- 1 c. porridge oats
- 2 c. of milk water, or a mixture of both
- Pinch of Salt
Pour the cup of oats into a small pot.
Pour the milk or water into the pot with the oats and add a pinch of salt.
Place the pot on the hob and turn it on to medium heat.
Bring the porridge to a bowl then decrease the heat to low and allow it to simmer.
Simmer for 4-5 minutes. Make sure to continually stir if you use milk as the milk can burn very easily.
Once the porridge has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool before serving.
Serve with either maple syrup, brown sugar, fresh fruit, or cinnamon.
