- 2 c. all-purpose/plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsps. Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. pumpkin puree
- 1/2 c. unsalted butter
- 1/4 c. whole milk
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips milk or dark
Preheat the oven to 350℉/180℃/Gas Mark 4.
In a medium bowl, whisk the all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together.
Add the softened unsalted butter to the wet ingredients. Then add the pumpkin puree and mix in well.
Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix together. Do your best not to overmix.
Add the milk and incorporate.
Lastly if adding chocolate chips add them here.
Bake for 1 hour or until a knife inserted comes out dry.
