Taco Salad Recipe

- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 c. filtered water
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 head of Romaine lettuce washed and finely chopped
- 1 1/2 c. Beefsteak tomatoes cubed
- 1/2 c. green onions chopped
- 1 avocado peeled and cubed
- 1 c. old cheese grated
- 1/2 c. salsa
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 2 c. tortilla chips optional
Heat the oil on the frying pan. Once heated, add the raw ground beef to the pan and let cook on medium heat until fully browned, about 8-10 minutes. Remove excess grease.
Add the packet of taco seasoning and 1/2 c. filtered water to the beef and bring to a boil. Put the lid onto the pan and let it simmer for 8 minutes.
While the meat is cooking, wash the head of lettuce, dry it, and finely chop. Add to a large bowl.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the lettuce bowl.
Once the beef is fully cooked, pour it into the bowl with all of the ingredients and toss together well.
