Taco Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. filtered water
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1 head of Romaine lettuce washed and finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. Beefsteak tomatoes cubed
  • 1/2 c. green onions chopped
  • 1 avocado peeled and cubed
  • 1 c. old cheese grated
  • 1/2 c. salsa
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. tortilla chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil on the frying pan. Once heated, add the raw ground beef to the pan and let cook on medium heat until fully browned, about 8-10 minutes. Remove excess grease.
  • Add the packet of taco seasoning and 1/2 c. filtered water to the beef and bring to a boil. Put the lid onto the pan and let it simmer for 8 minutes.
  • While the meat is cooking, wash the head of lettuce, dry it, and finely chop. Add to a large bowl.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the lettuce bowl.
  • Once the beef is fully cooked, pour it into the bowl with all of the ingredients and toss together well.
  • Serve and enjoy!
